Rhine outside our door...

Staying in Alphen aan den Rhine.  Not a place that's on the map of normal tourist attractions, it's kind of a bedroom community to Leiden, which in itself is a pretty quiet place.  But right in the heart of "green Holland", easy to get to anywhere from here.  And the Rhine runs through Alphen.  In fact it is just outside our door.  The Rhine is a working river.  So, in a sense, it's like we are staying on El Camino (or pick your own local business route) but with boats instead of trucks.  Here is a 30-second video Katie shot of one barge passing by our front window... short movie of a long boat:
